Inverted Flare Elbow
A brake line inverted flare elbow is a type of brake line fitting that is used to connect two brake lines at an angle. The elbow fitting has two openings, one on each end, that are designed to accept brake lines that have been flared at a 45-degree angle. The flare on the brake line sits against a seat inside the fitting and a nut is tightened onto the fitting to secure the brake line in place.
The inverted flare design of the fitting ensures a tight, leak-proof seal between the brake line and the fitting. The elbow shape of the fitting allows the brake lines to be connected at an angle which can be useful in situations where the brake lines need to be routed around obstacles or other parts.
Brake line inverted flare elbows are commonly used in automotive and other mechanical applications where brake lines need to be connected at an angle.
